Winter is in full swing, which means that the usual uptick in unsolicited applications for positions with our law firm have increased. Practicing in Hawaii’s courts starts to look mighty good when you are buried deep in snow and ice.

The State of Hawaii Attorney General is looking for a Deputy Solicitor General. Technically, there’s no “official” position of State SG, but these are the Deputy AG’s tasked with representing the State of Hawaii in the state and federal appellate courts. Quite an opportunity to join Hawaii’s largest law firm, and the team which represents the State in the Hawaii Supreme Court, Intermediate Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
